How we test. we create a player account ourselves, carry out a real deposit, pull the money out and time the whole route. Licence status is verified directly with the Gaming Commission and compare the promise with the conditions.

Our income comes from affiliate commissions; what we write is independent of that fee. An operator without a Belgian licence is described as such, commission or not.

Weekly limit, age bar and exclusion

The Belgian legislator approaches player protection more firmly than players tend to expect and it is built that way on purpose. Every licensed site applies a default deposit limit of €200 per week. Reducing it needs no waiting time, raising it needs a check and a waiting period.

Through EPIS the Gaming Commission runs centralised exclusion: one registration excludes you at once from every licensed operator, online and on-site. Registering costs nothing. The bar has stood at 21 since 1 September 2024, lottery aside; 18 still applies at the National Lottery alone. Age is verified at registration.
